A new topic for my old blog. My neice is always asking "What funny things did A do recently"? And I always forget. So, now I'm going to keep track of them. Enjoy!

Update

So.
No news from me recently. Dave even warned me here not to neglect my blog. And here I am neglecting it. My apologies, blog readers (read: myself).
My second to last post was a big long complaint. Update on arm pain: must get another MRI. First MRI was incorrectly done. Dumb-asses.
And, as horrible as this sounds, I've only been able to read one book in the past few weeks!! For some this is normal. For others this is a lot of reading. For me, it's starving myself!
The book I did manage to read was "Libra", by Don DeLillo. A fictional account of the life of Lee Harvey Oswald and his recruitment by the FBI to make an attempt on the life of JFK. Very interesting. While a lot of the assassination details/myths are common cultural knowledge, there is so much more unknown. In fact, there is even a character in the book whose sole job is to compile a history of the historic event. Although working for the government, no one in the government knows he is doing it. Is that typical of a lot of government jobs? Anyway, it was cool and was a very impressive and concise account (fictional of course!) of an otherwise never-ending Mary-Poppins carpet bag of an event. I recommend it!
Now that I think about it...have I ever not recommended a book I've read? Hang on...let me check my bookshelves...Ok...don't read Hemingway. I hate Hemingway. Is that blasphemous? I don't care!!
Continuing on...I've applied and interviewed for a summer engineering job at FedEx Ground. I find out tommorow if they like me or not!
I also have finals starting tommorow morning.
Wish me luck!
