My lonely vote

As everyone else, I will now blog about the election.
I didn't think it possible that so many people liked Bush. I thought that everyone would realize who was smarter and who would make a better president. Instead of wondering what things would have been different if Al Gore had won what he deserved, I was looking forward to seeing how Kerry would fix what Bush screwed up. Alas, my dreams were shattered. Bush won with a solid victory, garnering a signigicant majority of the popular vote. Does this make him popular? I think I must be sheltered. Are people in the northeast and on the west coast really that much smarter than the rest of the United States? It makes me wonder. What is it that everyone else sees in this man? I see a war-mongering frat boy. What am I missing??
